Andreas Hansen

Denmark 1936-

Andreas Hansen is formed in Ringe where he becomes a qualified cabinetmaker in 1956. He continues his training at the Kunsthandvrerkerskolen ( School of Arts and Crafts , Denmark) , and graduates in 1962. He then continues his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts , Denmark from 1962 to 1963.

After completing his education, Andreas starts traveling to Florence , Rome and Venice. During this period he works for such architecture firms as Vilhelm Wohlert and Mogens Koch.

From 1968 to 1988 he taught at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, and from 1970 to 1973 at the Design School of Denmark. In 1974 he made ​​a study trip to Egypt. In 1963, he started his own business of furniture, fixtures and items for individuals and businesses. He works mainly for Danish companies.
