Elegant display cabinet in a timeless design that combines metal and glass in the most beautiful way. Enigma is perfect for displaying and highlighting one's dearest possessions behind shielding glass and is as elegant in the living room as it will be extravagant in the bedroom. In the talented Danish designer Rikke Frost's interpretation, the display cabinet is lifted from utility furniture to an artistic experience. The main idea in the design of Enigma is the fragmented representation of the contents, which gives the classic display cabinet an enigmatic, artistic being and new relevance. The metal grid is inspired by traditional glazier techniques with lead solders and piques curiosity in a play with shadows and transparency, where you can only guess the outline of the exhibited possessions behind the glass. The combination with powder-coated metal gives the Enigma display cabinet a modern elegance.

Rikke Frost

Rikke Frost had the honour of becoming the overall winner of DR1's culture show "Denmark's next classic". We helped Rikke along the way with one of the six challenges of the program, which was the task of creating a beautiful table lamp.

Viewers could follow Rikke on TV as she created a classic, but reimagined lamp. Our encounter with Rikke has resulted in an exciting collaboration. The lamp from the show will be introduced, with some adjustments, as a lamp line that has been named "CALEO". The name comes from Latin and means "to highlight", which refers to the lamps beautiful browned upstrokes, which were hand-crafted.

In addition to her participation in "Denmark's next classic", Rikke has participated in a number of exhibitions at home and abroad. She has won several design awards, including Boligmagasinet's Design Award as the reader favourite of 2012 with her rocking chair "Sway". On normal days she works in her own company, "Rikke Frost Design", and her collaborators include companies such as Tempur, Skagerak, Cane-Line, Warm Nordic and more, and now also LE KLINT.

Rikke graduated from Aarhus School of Architecture in 2000.
