Carl Halier

Denmark (1873-1948)

Born in Germany, Carl Halier moved to Denmark in 1898 where he opened his first workshop. He joined Royal Copenhagen in 1913 as a turner for Patrick Nordström whom he succeeded as technical director in 1922 four years later, he left to open a factory workshop with Arne Bang. The collaboration lasted four years, and reinstated Halier Royal Copenhagen in 1930, where he remained until his death in 1948.
