Classic lounge chair designed in the 50s by architect Hans Olsen, who was one of the great Danish furniture designers of the era. The Dwell Lounge Chair has a timeless 50's design with armrests in an organic design that invites you to sit comfortably in the chair, and the slim, rounded legs in solid wood complete the experience of a light and welcoming piece of furniture. The lounge chair is a beautiful design element in itself, but is just as nice as part of a larger conversation arrangement – for example in the company of the sofa in the same timeless design. The lounge chair is fully upholstered and available in several versions, depending on whether you want classic leather or a lighter expression with textile, including the popular bouclé, which gives the lounge chair extra character. The different textiles can be combined for a vivid expression, and Dwell is also available in several two-tone variants for a bolder appearance with body and seat cushion in a different color – a solution that Hans Olsen himself liked to use.

Hans Olsen
Born in 1919 in Denmark, Hans Olsen (1919-1992) was a Danish furniture designer who created numerous pieces in his own distinctive style. He pursued his studies at the Royal Danish Academy under the direction of the famous designer Kaare Klint from 1941 to 1943. He opened his own studio in 1953 and began to exhibit his works at the Cabinetmakers Guild in Copenhagen. Olsen's work is characteristic of mid-20th century design, presenting plunging organic curves and the fusion of multiple materials in one piece. The designer was known for his innovative utilization of wood lamellé plié, as evidenced by his emblematic Bikini Chair. Created for the first time in 1960 for Frem Røjle, a furniture manufacturing company, this aura led to the many collaborations for several pieces, now famous.
