Led 1 Lamp Table. Available in natural Walnut, Oak and Birch. Also available with an exterior painting in Black or White. The award-winning (Red Dot 2009 -best of the best-) Led1 is optimized for bedside tables at homes and hotels – or to be used simply as a stand-alone decorative light in any stylish interior. Equipped with touch-sensitive switching and dilmmer for easy control and brightness adjustment.
Handmade with certified molded plywood in our workshop in Finland. The product is for indoor use and has a non-user replaceable light source.

Mikko Kärkkäinen
Tunto Design’s founder and designer Mikko Kärkkäinen has made an art form out of combining the natural beauty of wood with the latest LED & OLED technology. With a background in both design and artisan carpentry, Kärkkäinen has a long history with using wooden materials creatively.
True to the company name “Tunto” (Finnish for sense or feeling), Kärkkäinen still begins each design process by getting a physical feel for the material and drawing initial designs on paper. Mikko’s depth of knowledge means he is able to think outside the proverbial box when he’s designing. Hence, every Tunto Design product ends up with a distinctive DNA that results from Mikko’s unique point of view.
Mikko’s designs for Tunto have received numerous international awards over the years. He has also been recognized as one of the prominent contemporary European designers in the form of the “Europe 40 under 40” award, and has received the official Finnish State Award in Design 2015.
