Yann Gandon & Maxime Sauce

Yann Gandon is a self-taught French designer and carpenter who founded his design studio in 2020. Originally based in New Zealand, he has since established his studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. Studio Yann Gandon is driven by experimental research and a strong interest in the tactile qualities of materials.

Maxime Sauce is an architect and creative director, guided by a pursuit of precision and timeless elegance. After working in international architecture firms in the Netherlands and Denmark, Maxime founded his own studio, MXS, in Copenhagen in 2020.

Through an ongoing creative collaboration since 2023, Studio Yann Gandon and Maxime Sauce have been developing a distinctive approach to furniture design, with a particular focus on the techniques of assembling raw materials.
