Moth Chair. Moth is the founding member of the Nordic Tales’ After Eight collection.
A collection of furniture dedicated to those of you who shine after the sun has set.
The chair has been cleaved in the middle, leaving no pressure on the spine in order to achieve the most ergonomically possible product.
The charismatic expression is the result of a left and right brain design process. The brass knobs are keeping the only eight millimeter thick back piece in place and pattern the wings. The lower back piece is intended to tangent the solid metal rods and completes the face of the Moth chair.

The famous Rorschach test has played a huge part in positioning the eyes of the moth in order to create an expression that can be read as both cheerful and melancholy depending on the nature of the observer.

Besides molded plywood and structure coated steel, the Moth comes with a special detail to complete the after eight mood. On the back, it has two corks specially imported from a famous champagne cork supplier. Besides these corks, the whole chair has been designed, developed, and produced in Denmark.

JHA! Will be my fourth initiative.

I seek to inject the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years in larger more bureaucratic companies, either as an external consultant or as a part of a corporate innovation team.

My passion originates from the idea of being an architect in a broader sense. In another perspective, architecture is the programming language of buildings. I believe that programming a business is subject to the same archetypical rules and just as with buildings, companies are depended on maintenance in terms of innovation. I believe that bringing external partners to the table and bypassing the inevitable bureaucratic nature of a larger company is key to staying in business.
