John Astbury

John Astbury's design studio was founded in 2014 and is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Astbury completed her studies in design at Konstfack, college of Arts and Crafts in 2011 after studying anthropology in England. His work is based on archetypes and reduces the object to its basic elements, so that material, structure and form come to the fore. An idiom with absolute simplicity, which simultaneously makes visible the dialogues and symbols that surround the object.
