Aage Petersen & Sønner

Aage Petersen 1902-1986 trained as a sculptor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He worked not only as a sculptor but also as a lamp designer, particularly for the the prestigious Danish company LE KLINT, founded by Tage Klint. Many Architects and leading Danish designers have  contributed to the success of Le Klint include sculptors such as Aage Petersen, well-known for his genius in structural design and his hand-folded sculptural lamp shades. Le Klint has a reputation that "glows in the dark" and there is no machine that could come close to duplicating the work of its craftsmen.
