Kahler Keramik

Kähler Keramick was founded by a stove maker in 1839, Herman Kähler, producing stoves until 1888. Herman Augustus Kähler inherited the business in 1872, sometime after which (around 1900) the factory began producing luster glazes and heavily patterned ceramics for which the factory became known. He supervised production until his death in 1917.
