Tobo Stengodsverkstad

Tobo Stengodsverkstad was founded in the 1935 by Ingrid and Erich Triller. The couple graduated from StaatlicheKeramische Fachschule in Bunzlau (the German  Bunzlau is Boleslawiec in Poland). Originally Erich trained as a pianist and music conductor but a lack of work in Germany compelled him to start to working with ceramics. A year after arriving in Tobo they held their first sucessful exhibition in the NK shopping mall in Stockholm; they sold everything. The company was in business from 1935-1972.
