J81 armchair black. New édition.
These are the small details that have made one of the most comfortable dining chairs even more comfortable. When Jørgen Bækmark added an armrest to J81, the big brother to the J80, the result was both a more comfortable chair, but also with a natural continuation of the curved shape in the chair back. In addition, the chair is slightly broader than the J80, which of course also provides a little more comfort.
The design is derived from FDB Møller's golden age, but the proportions are slightly adjusted, as the Danes on average are five-six centimeters higher today than they were in the 1950s. But otherwise it appears that at the time - and at the same time quite current and current.
