Mirja Orvola

Mirja Orvola’s scope of work has been broad both at home and abroad. By profession she is an interior architect and she has served as a specialist in many projects on the field. In recent years besides carrying out colour- and exhibition designs she has focused on writing. In 2000, she was nominated for the Finlandia Junior - Award. She studied lighting and lamp design while she was assisting Yki Nummi and Lisa Johansson-Pape at Orno lamp and light-fixture factory. Timeless, clear solutions and high-quality materials are important elements in all Mirja Orvola’s designs.
