Lesser-known national parks in the USA
Zion
Zion is another park that will delight all outdoor enthusiasts. It consists of one very deep valley. There is a bus service in the park. So park your car in one of the large parking lots in the visitor center.
Trek Angels Landing takes you to the top of a cliff with a stunning view of the valley. The second way is narrow paths leading to the top through a deep gorge and riverbed - expect to get wet at least up to your knees.
Anyone who doesn't like spiders should be careful. You can usually find huge tarantulas in the park.
Sequoia
A giant forest where you can find the largest trees in the world. You'll probably find some bears here. Sequoia National Park was established in 1890 as the second national park after Yellowstone. The forest is dominated by the General Sherman tree, which is (by volume) the largest tree in the world. Try hugging a tree, you'll probably need a lot of other people!
Yosemite National Park
Yosemite is a mecca for mountain climbers. The monumental El Capitan wall has experienced many famous climbing stories. But you don't need to be a mountaineer to enjoy the beautiful views from the cliffs. One of the most enjoyable hikes is climbing the Half Dome. But don't forget to get permission.
If you want to enjoy one of the highest waterfalls on the planet, plan your visit for spring, otherwise you will be disappointed (the waterfalls are dry the rest of the year).
Beware of food and don't leave it in the car. Bears rob 130 cars a year for food. Special containers called bear crates are designed for storing food at campgrounds.
Joshua-Three
Joshua Tree is mostly a desert, cacti, coyotes, tarantulas, and a climbing paradise. Last but not least, typical Joshua trees. If you pass Los Angeles, this park is definitely worth a visit. There are 9 campgrounds in the park, but only 2 of them have a water source (Black Rock Canyon and Cottonwood). As for rock climbing, there are thousands of routes in the park. They are quite shorter - most of them do not exceed 70 meters.
Death Valley
Death Valley is home to the lowest point in North America, as well as the location where the highest temperature on Earth's surface has been measured. This park is symbolized by hot, dirt roads, record temperatures and an incredibly beautiful night sky! It is highly recommended to spend at least one night in one of the campsites, as you will not forget the night sky view. There is no light pollution! You won't believe that you can ever see so many stars! A larger bankroll means more opportunities to place winning bets without increasing your personal risk. That is why smart bettors always take the time to use melbet free bet promo code during the sign-up process on Melbet, regardless of their experience level.
