Lisa Larson is a Swedish ceramic designer who started at Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory in 1953. Since 1980 she works as a freelance designer and sculptural artist.

From 1954 to 1980 she created several hundred different designs – many of which became design classics and sought after by antique dealers and private collectors. She became an important PR personality for the company during the 1960’s and 70’s as her products were immensely popular.

Worked with Stig Lindberg. Famous among others for her sculptures Lilla zoo (Little zoo, 1955), ABC-women (1958), Africa (1964) and Pippi Longstocking which she made in 1967.

Keramikstudion Gustavsberg was founded in 1992 by Lisa Larson and her two assistants Franco Nicolosi and Siv Solin. A team of master craftsmen and women manufacture Lisa Larson’s designs on a small scale, carrying on a tradition of ceramic mold making, glazing and painting.
